Beginning on June 9, Rolling Acres Golf Course (Beaver Falls, PA), will be offering US Kids Junior Golf Clinic. Kids will learn golf fundamentals that they can put into practice right away, on the US Kids Golf ™Family course layout at Rolling Acres.

 

Leading the clinic will be Jeremy Schmidt of Brighton Twp.   He has 30 years of competitive golf and instruction experience.  Jeremy played at the University of Dayton (OH), where he was a two-time Academic All-American (19961997) and 3 time MVP.  He also worked and taught at the famed Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, FL.  After several years of professional golf, Jeremy received his amateur status, and continued to play competitively as an top 10 amateur in Montana and Indiana. 

 

Three 1 hour clinics per session, with an hour or so of course play after

 

Week 1 - Golf Basics (Grip, stance, posture) & Putting 

Week 2 – Golf Basics Review, Full Swing, around the green (chipping) 

Week 3 – Pitching, Specialty Shots (trouble shots), and Course Management
 
Ages:  6 -15 years of age, open to boys and girls (parents must be present for ages 12 and under)
 
Session 1:  June 9, 16 and 23

Session 2:  July 7, 14, and 21

Session 3: Intermediate Golf Skills, Dates TBD based on demand

 

Cost:  $55 for all 3 clinics, or $20 per clinic

Times:  Fridays @5:45pm – 6:45pm, with on-course play and instruction following the clinic.

 

Adults may walk with the kids or play the course with them (regular 9 hole golf and cart rates apply) To promote family play, special junior golf rates are available for the US Kids Golf ™ Family Course during normal tee times.
